Our Videography

 We
have invested in top-of-the-line digital video equipment costing
many thousands of dollars. We have selected light camcorders
because of their incredible three CCD chips, high resolution
and their ability over the older heavier models to be able to
actively move at our outdoor weddings beach.

- We also own one of the newest video editing
machines which we chose because of its ability to edit quickly
and professionally. You'll find that our videos have a lot of
slow motion, long lap dissolves, color and special effects and
are highly polished. No one else on Maui does the kind of wedding
videos we do at our prices.

- We are WEVA Members
-
- We have been shooting film and videos
for many years. We approach video more as a labor of love than
just as a business. We are members of WEVA (Wedding & Event
Videographers Association) and regularly attend their conventions
and seminars to improve our video production values.

- Our Three Videos
-
- We do three basic video productions for
our clients, depending upon their interests:

- The "A" Video -- This video is shot with only a little editing from
our editing suite. We do add limited music where needed and do
a light editing. Video uses limited dissolves and fades but you'll
find the quality of this video is as good as the expensive productions
of many of our competitors. The beauty of our "A" video
is the low, low price and the fact that you should be able to
take it with you when you leave Maui.

- The "B" Video -- This video is fully edited with many dissolves,
some slow motion and professional titles. Editing is done to
arrange scenes in the best possible order. Scenes are trimmed
when necessary to eliminate awkward action or sound.

- We edit the footage which we shoot before
and after your wedding to your favorite song (which you provide
for us on a CD) or we can choose a romantic song from our library.
Most couples tell us that this song is the highlight of their
video. Your family (and especially your relatives who do not
make the wedding) will enjoy viewing it for years to come.

- The "C" Video -- This video production is far more than just a
wedding captured on video. It is a customized "Love Story"
for the two of you, set to two of your favorite music selections.
We will also include in your video up to eight photographs if
they are large (at least 5x7").

- This video will make you look good, ensuring
that you and your new spouse have something to show your friends
and family. It will provide inspiration for your relationship
for years to come. Here's what one couple had to say about their

- The "D" Video. This wedding production is for couples who want
two songs (as in the "C" video above) and they want
extra footage taken both of the wedding ceremony (with a second
videographer) as well as other special features such as on-camera
comments, footage of the bride and groom as they prepare before
the wedding, etc.
With the "D" Video you will have two videographers
for the wedding ceremony and extra time by your main videographer
(up to two and one/half hours). We also allow up to 12 of your
still photographs to be included and concentrate on putting into
your video all those extra special editing techniques which make
our videos so well received. Running time of your video is approximately
25 to 35 minutes.
The "D" video receives the kind of TLC that makes you
look good, ensuring that you and your new spouse will have something
to show your friends and family that is of exceptional quality.
It will provide inspiration for your relationship for years to
come.

- DVD Production of Your
Video

- We have the capability
of making your wedding footage into a DVD Production.
-
- We shoot your wedding
in our digital video format camcorders. That means that the quality
of the images we record is excellent. But the standard VHS copies
that each package offers are not digital and so a VHS copy manages
to capture only half the quality of the digital master. For this
reason, we highly recommend that couples upgrade to a DVD Production
for their Maui wedding video.

- A DVD captures all of
the quality on our original master which we shoot in. It is an
excellent way to preserve your wedding video at a high quality
level. DVDs have the distinct advantage (over regular videotape)
in that the information on the tape is composed of numbers. Therefore,
it never loses it's ability to give clean clear copies of itself
no matter how many generations are made.

- The cost of a DVD Production
of your wedding video is only $195 if ordered before your wedding.
The cost is $250 if you order it after your wedding ceremony
has been taken off of our editing system. The value of a DVD
is priceless for most families. Your great, great, grand children
should still be able to see your wedding video making it a family
heirloom.

- The DV Master Tape
-
- The cost of the MiniDV
master is $100 (no matter which video you purchase).

- The data on your MiniDV
master can be copied onto a DVD so that its longevity is unlimited.
Because of this fact, the value of the master videotape is important,
especially if you do not have a DVD made.

- But keep in mind that
the MiniDV master videotape we use is capable of being reused.
We therefore do not keep our tapes longer than six months after
the wedding. For this reason, we highly recommend that you buy
the master or the DVD while it is still available.
